morning star

the light has faded
gone from the sky.
the booze has softened
our senses and minds.
when all your friends are gone,

Ache

ache: "to have or suffer a continuous, dull pain"

I ache.
I am restless.
This lingering lack of achievement consumes me.
Yet its satiation does not fulfill me.
I am not empty.
Yet I am not whole.
Whither to my soul should turn?
Buddha, I yearn.

Open your eyes

New direction.

I think I would like very much to take this blog in a new direction. I doubt that there are many readers to begin with so this shouldn't make to many waves. I would like to continue with some poetry and also include some quotes and musings from various things that I am reading. This effort is two fold, the primary reason being an excuse to read more, and the secondary being a chance to fulfill one of the three habits of successful people:

1.) They don't complain
2.) They make lists
3.) They speak to some audience

Dark Eyes

dark eyes.
black skies.
white ceilings as i walk in side.
bright lights don't fade with my pride.
echo's through the building,
are all thats left now.
